This 5W-20 formulation uses a primary additive package that is zinc fortified and optimized for small displacement, high-RPM engines. Its synthetic base oils and shear-stable polymers allow it to maintain a tenacious oil film in the presence of excessive fuel dilution (including methanol). Air release chemistry mitigates aeration and foaming in splash lubrication systems. 

The formulation also contains three separate booster systems. The first is additional anti-wear agents to further protect camshafts, piston rings, and lifters. The second is additional antioxidants to prevent thermal degradation in air-cooled engines. The third is a cocktail of surface-active friction modifiers to improve lubricity and maximize engine output.
