GM 8L90E Pro Series billet triple disc torque converter
We have added 8L90E torque converters to our track-proven Pro Series line of custom built torque converters. Available for order now, each unit features a billet steel front cover, custom 3-disc lock-up clutch assembly with billet piston and premium heavy duty clutch linings, full furnace brazing, full silicon spot brazing, heat treated turbine hub, heat treated 1-piece pump hub and anti-ballooning plate, and full roller bearing construction. We have over 40 different stator combinations available to suit virtually any possible combination, and will hand build your torque converter specifically for your *exact* needs! We offer 258mm (10-inch) models with stall speeds ranging from 2,400 RPM to 4,500+ RPM, and 245mm (9-inch) models with stall speeds ranging from 3,000 RPM to 5,500+ RPM. We also have a single-disc billet option available for the 245mm models for those customers looking for a basic (but significant) upgrade over the stock torque converter in naturally aspirated combinations.
