Akrapovič Slip-On Race Line: Porsche 911 Turbo/Turbo S (992)
The knowledge and experience Akrapovič gained from working with various Porsche engines were poured into this Slip-On Race Line titanium exhaust system. While meticulously crafted with in-house developed titanium cast parts, it also delivers on an acoustic level. Driving off at a low RPM fills the senses with the deep iconic rumbles of the Porsche’s flat-six. A powerful mid-range tone develops into a rich, strong, and high-frequency acoustic sensation at higher RPMs. This high-frequency sound is achieved with a carefully calculated H-link between main pipes, which is precisely welded at a specific position.
As the Turbo S is one of the most iconic GT cars, all comfort is retained throughout the rev range with no drone or unwanted streaming noise. Power and torque delivery are greatly improved with a 22.5 hp maximum power increase and 34.5 lb-ft maximum torque increase at 3,400 rpm. The tuned torque curve offers a better response from low RPM ranges, and exhaust gas flow is greatly improved with more than a 39% reduction in backpressure. The Slip-On Race Line system weighs just 10.1 pounds providing 62.9% in weight savings compared to the stock exhaust system. The product is designed to replace the Porsche sport exhaust system.
The system is finished with a choice between two different sets of round titanium tailpipes, sandblasted and coated, and available in natural titanium or black finish. The inner side of the tailpipes features a dynamic relief surface for increased aesthetic value.
