We build big cubic inch small and big block Chevrolet and Ford endurance "off road only" applications.
Patton Racing Engines started with Leon Patton building engines on the side for friends like Dave Shoppe's class 8 Ford truck in the 1980s. Before the decade was over Leon decided to turn his hobby into a business and founded Advanced Automotive Technology. Advanced Automotive Technology changed into Patton Racing Engines in 1993. After graduating high school Leon's son, Chris decided to join the family business. Now Chris can be found tuning engines on the dyno, out in the desert, at the track or on the water with customers. When Leon's daughter, Natalie graduated from college with a business degree, she too joined the family business. In 2005 we decided to incorporate and that is how Patton Racing Engines, Inc was formed.
