I founded California Sportscars in 1980 to stretch my knowledge of vintage sportscars and apply my skills to repair, rebuild, and modify Posches. Starting out as a mechanic in Southern California, I learned the ins and outs of engine and transmission systems and quickly became fascinated with the world of sportscars and racing. I grew to love ground-up restoration and established my own business a year after moving to the San Luis Obispo area. Since then, I've only refined my craft and widened my restoration abilities—from all-authentic restorations to resto-mods to modern race cars.

My expertise lies in Porsche 911 streetcar engines, Porsche 911 racing engines, Porsche 911 racer builds, full restorations, and transmission overhaul and modification. While I've learned what it takes to restore a vehicle to its original glory, I also ensure each car is tailored to the owner's specific needs and preferences. Let's get it done!
