2025 FIA WEC calendar revealed
As the FIA WEC continues to go from strength to strength, the 2025 season will see the championship visit eight countries and four continents to consolidate its position as one of the world’s most prestigious motorsport championship.
- FIA World Endurance Championship to continue to consist of eight rounds with events in Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East and Asia maintained on 2025 schedule

A minimum of 14 manufacturers are expected to compete in WEC next year which will get underway in Doha, Qatar, in February 2025. Lusail International Circuit will once again host the WEC Prologue (pre-season testing) and the season-opening Qatar 1812km, named after the country’s National Day, on 28 February 2025.
The championship will then move to Europe for round two at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari (Imola), which will take place in late April. The WEC, with support from Imola’s City Mayor Marco Panieri, has signed a contract for the championship to remain at the Italian circuit for an additional four years (until 2028). Proving its commitment to the WEC, Imola has committed to improving paddock infrastructure including building extra pit garages.
Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps will form the third round of the championship. This will be the 13th running of the Belgian event which has featured in every WEC season since the championship’s inception in 2012. Spa-Francorchamps serves as the traditional dress rehearsal before the series returns to France for its biggest race of the year: the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans (14-15 June).
With continued support from São Paulo’s City Hall, the WEC teams will travel to Brazil for the Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo at the Interlagos Circuit in mid-July. The championship will then move to Austin, Texas, for round six at the Circuit of the Americas for the Lone Star Le Mans.
Fuji International Speedway will stage the penultimate round of the calendar with its iconic race at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan. The WEC’s Asian leg has been scheduled for 28 September 2025.
As is tradition in the WEC, Bahrain will once again host the season finale at the prestigious Bahrain International Circuit at the start of November when the 2025 World Champions will be crowned at a glittering awards ceremony.
The 2025 WEC schedule was ratified by the FIA World Motor Sport Council this week.
