BAXTER PERFORMANCE ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF “EVAC-U-FILTER” OIL FILTER EVACUATION ADAPTER
Baxter Performance, the leading manufacturer of Cartridge to Spin-On Oil Filter Adapters for the automotive and truck market, is proud to unveil its latest innovation: the Patent Pending “EVAC-U-FILTER” Oil Filter Evacuation Adapter. Designed for engines using spin-on oil filters, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, ATVs, and industrial equipment, this new adapter offers a clean, efficient solution for both individual consumers and fleet operators.
“EVAC-U-FILTER is a low-profile, 3/16” adapter that mounts permanently between the engine’s oil filter mount and the spin-on oil filter,” said Kevin Baxter, President at Baxter Performance. “Using compressed air through a Schrader valve, it evacuates oil from the filter and engine and even expels debris from the oil pump pickup tube screen—something typically only possible by removing the oil pan.”
The adapter returns oil to the sump for single-point removal and empties the oil filter, minimizing spills and eliminating the need for a drain pan during filter changes.
Constructed from anodized machined billet aluminum, the EVAC-U-FILTER is available in:
• Three filter diameters: 2.6”, 3.0”, and 3.66”
• Five thread sizes: SAE (3/4-16, 5/8-18, 13/16-16) and Metric (20x1.5, 22x1.5)
Plans to expand into larger diesel sizes are underway.
