Fans can support U.S. veterans through 'Riding with Rahal' at Indy 500
In partnership with United Rentals and its Turns For Troops initiative and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL), the Graham and Courtney Rahal Foundation (GCRF) unveiled its newest fundraising campaign, “Riding with Rahal,” on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
With a minimum $50 donation, individuals can be featured on Graham Rahal’s No. 15 United Rentals racing machine for the 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on May 25, 2025.
Visit RidingWithRahal.com by April 4, 2025, to donate and submit the name that will appear on Rahal’s race car. All donations are tax-deductible and will support veteran’s initiatives.
Participants can have their name on Rahal’s race car or honor a person of their choosing to be represented on Memorial Day Weekend at “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.” The “Riding with Rahal” campaign began Veterans Day and will run through April 4, with a goal of collecting $50,000 in donations.
“I'm extremely excited to keep our commitment to our veterans going as we move forward into 2025 and continue to grow our support in Turns For Troops,” Rahal said. “I think ‘Riding with Rahal’ is a great initiative for the Month of May and Memorial Day weekend. I'm very excited to see all the names that we get on the United Rentals car.”
Turns For Troops has primarily been funded by United Rentals and GCRF to help support the lives of America’s heroes. “Riding with Rahal” allows fans to participate in the largest single-day sporting event in the world, all while making a difference in the lives of our nation’s veterans.
“I believe we can do a lot together to help our veterans, and many here in this country need our support,” Rahal said. “I'm very proud of what United Rentals is doing and everything that we at the Graham and Courtney Rahal Foundation have done to continue to give back to our nation’s heroes. I think ‘Riding with Rahal’ is a great initiative to keep it growing.”
Since 2016, United Rentals has committed to donating $50 per lap that Rahal completes in NTT INDYCAR SERIES competition through its Turns For Troops program. To date, the effort has raised nearly $1 million from laps completed, and almost $2.5 million has been donated in total, with the addition of money raised from the annual GCRF Drivers Tournament and Vino For Vets fundraisers.
