Gibson Technology puts chassis business up for sale
Renowned race engine builder Gibson Technologies has placed its chassis business up for sale.
The company built a range of successful sportscar chassis from 2002-2016. The sale includes not only parts and chassis molds but also all IP associated with these cars, consisting of everything from CAD models to torsion test data and wind tunnel data.
The complete listing of IP includes:
- Catia V5 3D CAD models
- Manufacturing and assembly drawings
- Lamination lay-up manuals
- Wiring and electrical drawings
- Wind tunnel and car aero data
- FIA Crash test results and certifications
- Torsion test data
- Car set-up sheets
- ACO homologation files and all evolution forms.
- Car manuals
An 04S show car (race used), numerous chassis spares, a new 015S chassis tub are also for sale.
