GMS Fabrication Expands its Legacy in Performance and Restoration

GMS Fabrication, renowned for its championship-winning race cars and trucks, continues to evolve, diversifying its operations to include hot rod and vintage car restoration. In a recent webinar, GMS President Mike Beam and Shop Foreman Steve Nash provided an inside look at the company's growing capabilities, emphasizing their commitment to innovation and quality craftsmanship.

A Legacy of Success

GMS Fabrication has long been synonymous with racing excellence. Known for building race cars for NASCAR's Truck Series, Xfinity Series, and ARCA Menards Series, the company boasts an impressive track record, including 86 wins across various series. Notable teams, such as Bill McAnally Racing, continue to trust GMS for their high-performance needs, with three trucks in the playoffs this season alone.

"We started this journey in 2016 with just five trucks," said Beam. "Since then, we've expanded significantly, both in terms of the number of vehicles we've produced and the range of services we offer. We're proud of our accomplishments and excited about what's to come."

Expanding Horizons

In addition to its racing pedigree, GMS Fabrication has ventured into the world of vintage car restoration and custom builds. The decision to diversify was driven by the passion of the team and a desire to keep challenging themselves. Beam highlighted how the restoration of a 1977 vehicle with a modern LS motor and a five-speed transmission sparked enthusiasm among the staff and led to a broader focus on custom and vintage projects.

"Our team has decades of experience, and many of them have hot rods of their own. When we started working on vintage projects, it was clear that this was something we wanted to pursue further," Beam explained. "We've now taken on several exciting projects, from restoring classic Camaros to building custom vehicles."

A Shop Like No Other

What sets GMS Fabrication apart is the combination of racing expertise and custom craftsmanship. Whether it's building a race car, restoring a classic vehicle, or creating a custom masterpiece, the GMS team brings unparalleled attention to detail and a commitment to quality. With state-of-the-art tools like laser cutters and a talented team of fabricators, GMS can bring any vision to life.

"If you can think it, we can make it," Beam said proudly. "We have a culture here that emphasizes both winning and craftsmanship, and it shows in every project we undertake."

Looking to the Future

As GMS Fabrication continues to expand its services, the team remains focused on excellence in everything they do. Whether it's on the track or in the garage, GMS is committed to pushing the boundaries of performance and creativity.

"We're excited about the future," Beam concluded. "Our goal is to keep growing, keep innovating, and keep delivering the best products possible to our customers."
