The WPI/NTPA office has received word of the passing of Gerald Edwards, 87, of Lowville, New York. Mr. Edwards was a tech official for decades for NTPA national events in Region I, New York, and New England.
After competing in the early years of the NTPA, Mr. Edwards became a tech official. He held an active Official’s License until his retirement in 2023 and remained an Associate Member.
Visitation for Mr. Edwards’ family and friends is set for Monday, October 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Iseneker Funeral Home, 5702 Waters Road, Lowville, NY 13367. His funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

A true racing and tractor pulling lifer, Mr. Edwards was fond of saying, “If it doesn’t make noise and go fast, I’m not interested.” We will miss Jerry’s spirit very much.
Please keep Brenda and the Edwards family in your thoughts as they grieve.
