Land Speed Racer Chris Raschke killed in Bonneville Crash
Land speed racer and long-time ARP team member Chris Raschke was killed in a crash Saturday while making a run at the Bonneville Salt Flats during Speed Week. He was 60 years old.
Raschke apparently lost control of the Speed Demon 3 streamliner around the 2.5-mile mark while making a high-speed pass. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
