New majority owners for Niece Motorsports Truck teams
Niece Motorsports announced new majority owners for its Craftsman Truck Series operation on Friday at Richmond Raceway.
Josh Morris, CEO of DQS Solutions & Staffing, Greg Fowler, CEO of J.F. Electric, and family are the new owners. However, they are familiar partners to the race team as their longtime sponsors.
Niece Motorsports will continue to operate under the same name.
“This partnership is a continuation of the momentum we’ve built over the last several seasons,” said Al Niece, founder of Niece Motorsports. “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished. This change allows me to return to the heart of why I got into racing – the passion and excitement of competition – while entrusting the business to partners who believe in our team and our people.”
Cody Efaw has been named president and CEO of Niece Motorsports as its next chapter begins. Amanda Efaw has been named chief marketing officer.
Phil Gould, who is also a crew chief at Niece Motorsports for the No. 45 team, has been promoted to director of competition. Gould will oversee the performance and coordination of the Niece Motorsports race teams.
“Our investment in Niece Motorsports is about growth,” said Morris. “We believe in this team, its people and its future. From pit crews to hospitality to content creation, we’re building a racing organization that delivers both on the track and in the boardroom.”

Niece Motorsports fields four teams in the Craftsman Truck Series. Those four teams, the Nos. 41, 42, 44, and 45 will be in action Friday night at Richmond Raceway.
