Skip Barber Racing School and Tillotson Racing unveil new partnership
The Skip Barber Racing School is proud to unveil a new partnership with Tillotson Racing, an Irish-based karting firm with connections to the global karting community. The new partnership will provide those associated with Tillotson Racing’s wide offering of karting-related products the opportunity to train at the Skip Barber Racing School.
Additionally, the Skip Barber Racing School will appear on various material related to Tillotson’s T4 Nations Cup and the iconic Skip Barber logo will adorn all karts in the T4 Nations Cup.
“This partnership will allow us at Skip Barber to do what we do best: turn drivers into champions,” Skip Barber Racing School Chief Marketing Officer Dan DeMonte said. “Each day we work to identify prospective talent, train the next generation, and prepare them for a career in racing. With Tillotson, we’ll be able to do that on a global scale. I’m eagerly awaiting the deserving talent that will get to train with us as a result of this new partnership.”
A longtime staple of the karts-to-cars transition, the Skip Barber Racing School and Skip Barber Race Series have served as the ultimate training ground for drivers looking to begin their open-wheel racing journey. In 2023 and 2024, the Skip Barber Race Series was entrusted by Andretti Global to develop Sebastian and Oliver Wheldon, both of whom won the title in their rookie campaigns.
Drivers identified through the partnership will have the opportunity to experience the same world-class training and begin their own open-wheel racing journey with the Skip Barber Racing School and Skip Barber Race Series.
