Skip Barber Racing School opens new corporate headquarters
The Skip Barber Racing School is proud to unveil its new facility at VIRginia International Raceway. The new building will serve as the corporate headquarters for all Skip Barber entities including the Skip Barber Racing School, Skip Barber Race Series, the Skip Barber Off Road Academy and Skip Barber Racing which supports entries in IMSA, SRO and USF Pro Championships.
The facility features a best-in-class workshop designed to support the ever-growing collection of Skip Barber Racing School vehicles, race cars, Yamaha UTVs and our fleet of Mack Anthem tractors and trailers. A full fabrication shop and in-house dynamometer round out the expanded capabilities of the facility.
The building is located on the campus of VIRginia International Raceway and extends the bond between the Skip Barber Racing School and the legendary racing venue. Students of Skip Barber programs at VIR will be treated to brand new classrooms, and a state-of-the-art driver development center with driver training simulators and a human performance gym. Including VIR, the Skip Barber Racing School will host programs at eight different venues across the United States.
“When it came time to select our new home, we had several different options but VIRginia International Raceway and the Commonwealth of Virginia checked all of the boxes,” Skip Barber Racing School CEO Anthony DeMonte said. “With this facility, the Skip Barber Racing School is poised for unprecedented growth as we support our schools, Skip Barber Race Series, Race Team, Driving Academy, corporate events and our Skip Barber Off-Road Academy right here in Virginia.”
