Universal Technical Institute (UTI) appoints Tracey Lorenz as President

Universal Technical Institute Inc. (UTI) has announced the appointment of Tracy Lorenz as president of the UTI division, which is comprised of the company’s skilled trades, transportation, and energy offerings. 

Lorenz most recently served as the president and CEO of Triumph Education, where she grew revenue dramatically during her six years leading the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, according to the company. Prior to that, Lorenz spent nine years at Apollo Education Group in various roles, including as president of Western International University.

UTI operates 16 campuses across nine states and offers a wide range of skilled trades technical training and more programs under brands such as UTI, NASCAR Technical Institute, MIAT College of Technology, Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, and Marine Mechanics Institute.
