- Centerless ground for increased concentricity
- Heat treated prior to machining for increased fatigue strength
- Rated at 190,000 psi minimum tensile strength
- Shaft diameter is larger than the OEM version, allowing for the use of higher viscocity oils and high capacity pumps
- ARP uses a unique manufacturing process where the alignment sleeve is roll formed onto the shaft (not welded or pinned), enabling the sleeve to float, allowing for slight misalignment.
