Mylec Dekmat can be used indoor and outdoors. The floor that is very versatile it can be used almost anywhere. Installation is quick and easy without the use of any special tools (rubber mallets can be used to expedite the process a little). The squares are slightly smaller than 1' x 1' (11 5/8" x 115/8") but snap together and can be moved/made into any squared shape that you want. The dekmat sits 5/8" high to give a little elevation from the ground. It is shock absorbent and has some anti-fatigue properties allowing it to be less strenuous on joints. Sanitation and drainage is easy with the open grid design allowing dirt or liquids to drop through, while the aeration and drainage eliminate mildew and odors. It can easily be lifted and cleaned with a shop vac or pressure washed underneath to get rid of anything that may fall through the cracks.
