TREND ‘SHELF STOCK” PUSHRODS
Trend Performance is best known for manufacturing a variety of “exotic” custom pushrods for the most demanding applications in motorsports. And through this, Trend has developed a line of “shelf stock” pushrods designed for today’s high-RPM, high spring pressure environments.
Among the most popular are Trend’s beefy 7/16” diameter by .165” wall straight and double-taper designs, as well as monster ½“ diameter by .200” wall (straight or double taper) pushrods. To assure optimum valve train geometry the 7/16” pushrods are available in .025” increments from 7” (double tapered) or 7.4” to 11.5” in length. The ½” diameter pushrods come in .050” increments from 8” to 11” in length.
These one-piece, centerless-ground pushrods are made from chrome moly steel and equipped with ball ends that have a 210° radius to provide extra clearance. A tolerance of .001” is maintained on the ball ends, and the pushrods are enhanced with a black oxide finish. As a final touch, the pushrods are laser-etched with its specifications and the customer’s name.
Proudly manufactured in Trend Performances’ Warren, Michigan facility, the “Shelf Stock” pushrod line also includes 5/16” and 3/8” diameter models of varying wall thicknesses, lengths and configurations. For additional details visit www.TrendPerform.com or call 800-326-8368.
