Surface Temperature Sensor
Surface temperature sensors are designed to measure the temperature of components by fixing directly onto the surface of the area being measured. Using the proven relationship between resistance and temperature of an RTD, when connected to an interface unit or supporting ECU it is possible to determine the surface temperature.
