Springless Wastegate
The Springless Wastegate is based on the ultra-successful DW1 wastegate and has been on race winning cars in RallyX and Rallying, as well as on some Pikes Peak single seaters.
Very similar to the DW1 wastegate in construction, the main difference is that there is no spring – the valve position is controlled by boost.
The main advantage is a significantly lower height, as the cap does not have to house a spring.
