Thanks to employing proprietary manufacturing technology centered on precisely machining specially extruded aluminum alloy billets and using MGP’s innovative ILS (Integrated Locking System) process, the rods have proven to be exceptionally durable. They come equipped with special ARP L19 fasteners that are nominally rated at 260,000 psi tensile strength with ARP Custom Age 625+ bolts an available option.
Popular applications in stock include small block and big block Chevrolet engines, as well as 2nd Generation Chrysler Hemis. MGP rods have accounted for many wins in the Alcohol Dragster and Funny Car categories.
