Alexander and Letarte join Earnhardt for TNT, Prime Video NASCAR broadcasts
Adam Alexander, Steve Letarte, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be the voices for the NASCAR Cup Series on TNT Sports and Prime Video in 2025.
“We are excited to welcome Adam and Steve to the TNT Sports family, joining Dale in the booth to give racing fans a thoughtful, entertaining and engaging experience,” said Craig Barry, Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer, TNT Sports. “Their passion and knowledge for the sport, delivered in a more conversational format, will create a compelling narrative for each race and enhance the coverage for viewers as NASCAR returns to our platforms next year.”
Earnhardt was announced to the broadcast team earlier this year. The two-time Daytona 500 winner had previously worked with NBC Sports after retiring in 2017.
Alexander, who was most recently the lead announcer for Fox Sports and its Xfinity Series coverage, will lead the play-by-play coverage in a return to TNT Sports. He was the play-by-play announcer for the company from 2010 through 2014.
“I’m very excited to return to TNT Sports as they renew their coverage of NASCAR,” Alexander said. “I have great respect for Dale and Steve and look forward to calling races with them.”
Letarte and Earnhardt will serve as analysts. Letarte will also continue his role with NBC Sports.
“I am looking forward to joining the team at TNT Sports and working alongside Dale Jr. again in the booth,” Letarte said. “TNT has a long history of covering NASCAR and I am excited to contribute to that history next season when the green flag waves on TNT’s coverage in June.”
Prime Video will broadcast five Cup Series races beginning with the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 25. The other races in its window are Nashville Superspeedway (June 1), Michigan International Speedway (June 8), Mexico City (June 15), and Pocono Raceway (June 22).
TNT Sports will begin its coverage at Atlanta Motor Speedway on June 28. The other four races in its schedule are in Chicago (July 6), Sonoma Raceway (July 13), Dover Motor Speedway (July 20), and Indianapolis Motor Speedway (July 27).
