Later date announced for 2027 Rolex 24
The 64th edition of the Rolex 24 At Daytona starts in less than two weeks, but already, the dates for the 65th edition have been announced.
Daytona International Speedway announced today that the 2027 Rolex 24 will take place from January 28th through the 31st, with the green flag for the race coming on January 30th.
“With so many fans traveling from all 50 states and dozens of countries for North America’s most prestigious sports car race, we wanted to give fans plenty of time to make their travel and lodging plans for the 2027 Rolex 24,” said Frank Kelleher, President of Daytona International Speedway.
“This event continues to showcase an incredible twice-around-the-clock marathon with the world’s top drivers and teams. We’re looking forward to welcoming fans back to the World Center of Racing for the 64th running of the Rolex 24 next weekend.”
This date change coordinates with a later date for the 69th running of the Daytona 500, scheduled for February 21st, 2027, after moving off the traditional Presidents’ Day weekend.
The 64th Rolex 24 At Daytona begins Sunday, January 24th, at 1:40 PM ET (local time), airing in the United States on Peacock, with live coverage of the start and finish on NBC, and international streaming coverage on IMSA’s official YouTube channel and IMSA.TV.
