Tom Allen - Industry
Tom Allen has spent more than four decades developing and advancing steering systems for the off-road racing industry, helping shape the way modern vehicles perform off-road. His passion started early—racing dirt bikes at just 11 years old—and grew into a lifelong career defined by hands-on problem solving and real-world innovation. Working out of a small garage, Tom focused on one thing: fixing the problems drivers actually faced as off-road vehicles became more powerful and capable.
Through years of testing and refinement, he developed practical solutions to handle larger tires, increased horsepower, and more demanding terrain. He went on to found PSC Motorsports, where he pioneered Cylinder Assist® steering systems—helping establish the technology as a standard across rock crawling, desert racing, and recreational off-road vehicles.
Tom has continued to build on that foundation with ongoing innovation, including systems like the DDS (Dynamic Damping Stabilizer System), designed to further improve vehicle control and stability. His products are trusted by racers, fabricators, and enthusiasts alike, and his willingness to share knowledge has made a lasting impact across the industry. Over the course of his career, his work has influenced not only how off-road vehicles perform, but also the direction of steering technology within the sport—extending into military and commercial applications worldwide.
Today, Tom remains actively involved in both the business and the off-road community, supporting the next generation of builders and racers while continuing to push steering technology forward.
Dominic Clark – Influencer
Born in Reno, Nevada, and raised in Las Vegas, Dominic Clark has dedicated more than five decades to media relations, public relations, and event operations, becoming one of the most respected behind-the-scenes figures in off-road motorsports. His career began at the original Mint 400 in 1982 before joining the High Desert Racing Association (HDRA), where he managed media operations, published race programs, and launched the FASTRAX off-road newspaper. When HDRA and SCORE International merged, Clark played a key role in the combined series and remained with SCORE after Sal Fish acquired HDRA in 1993. Following Fish's sale of SCORE in 2012, Clark was one of the first people recommended to remain with the organization, where he continues today as SCORE Historian, contributing media releases, historical content, and race publications. He also created the SCORE World Desert Championship name and coined the organization's enduring tagline, "World's Foremost Desert Racing Organization."
Beyond SCORE, Clark's career has included media and public relations work for Roger Mears Racing, Rod Millen Racing, Robby Unser Racing, Menzies Motorsports, MTEG, major college football bowl games, the John Wooden Legacy basketball tournament, and 17 years with the FIVB, including the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. A journalism graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, Clark began his career as Sports Information Director at UNLV before becoming an independent media consultant. Known for quietly putting the sport before himself, Clark has been recognized with SCORE's Legacy Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, and Media Ops Director Emeritus honor. His unmatched dedication, passion, and lasting influence on desert racing have earned him a well-deserved place in the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
Jessi Combs – Industry Pioneer
Jessi Combs redefined what’s possible in the off-road industry. A champion racer, skilled fabricator, television host, and Guinness World Record holder, Jessi earned the respect of competitors and fans alike through her relentless work ethic, technical expertise, and fearless determination. Jessi represents the difference between someone who is successful in an industry.....and someone who helps define what that industry means during a certain era. From competing in some of the world’s toughest off-road races to advancing the sport through media and advocacy, Jessi consistently pushed the boundaries of what was possible while inspiring others to do the same.
In addition to showing that she belonged in the world of off-road, Jessi elevated it; and she left the industry better than she found it. Jessi Combs represents what motorsport feels like at its best! She influenced how
people talk about and understand the industry, even those outside of it, and helped define a shift in industry culture – especially around who belongs in it and what’s possible.

Jessi’s impact extends far beyond her accomplishments in competition. She was a tireless advocate for the skilled trades and for creating opportunities for women. Jessi passed on August 27, 2019, while establishing her world record as the "Fastest Woman on Four Wheels." Today, The Jessi Combs Foundation carries forward her mission by educating, inspiring, and empowering women to pursue careers in the trades. Her legacy lives on through the lives she continues to influence and the lasting mark she left on the off-road community.
Kenny Freeman – Industry Pioneer
A Las Vegas native of 69 years, Kenny has spent more than 55 years immersed in off-road racing, continuing a family legacy that began with his first race at the inaugural SNORE 250 in 1969. His family’s passion for the sport runs deep, with his father competing in the 1970 SNORE 250 and Kenny beginning his own racing career in 1972 as a co-driver. After several early challenges, he purchased his first race car and went on to earn two SNORE overall championships, while his family also made their mark in the sport, including championships earned by his father, mother, wife, and sons Bryan and Cody.
Kenny’s passion for off-road racing eventually led him to promote the growing sport. As SNORE President eight times and Race Director five times, he helped transform the organization, increasing race participation and bringing new energy to events. His dedication has always been driven by a love for racing and a commitment to the off-road community. Today, Kenny continues to support SNORE, marking trails and staying involved in the sport he has dedicated his life to.
Jeff Geiser & Richard Geiser - Industry Pioneers
Rick and Jeff Geiser, founders of Geiser Brothers Design & Development, have spent more than three decades shaping the evolution of modern off-road racing. Their passion for the sport began at a young age, racing dirt bikes before moving into Honda Odyssey competition in the 1980s. As their passion
grew, both brothers honed their skills working alongside some of the sport's most respected names, with Rick at Foddrill's and Jeff under Steve McEachern and Walker Evans. After a life-changing accident brought Jeff back to Phoenix to help Rick recover, the brothers founded Geiser Brothers Design & Development in 1995. Today, with race chassis #95 under construction and 19 luxury prerunners built, Geiser Bros has produced more Trophy Trucks than any other manufacturer in the sport's history. Geiser-built trucks have become the benchmark for competitors chasing victories across Baja, the United States, Australia, and beyond.

Beyond building race-winning vehicles, Rick and Jeff have continually pushed the sport forward through innovation. Their accomplishments include designing the first modern all-wheel-drive Trophy Truck, which made history with the first overall victory by a four-wheel-drive Trophy Truck at the 2016 Parker 425, and later developing the world's first twin-engine Trophy Truck. They also transformed the way privateers competed by providing complete race program support, from vehicle preparation and logistics to pit coordination and race-day operations. Through championship-winning partnerships with top-tier teams, Rick and Jeff gave independent racers access to professional-caliber equipment and expertise, helping countless teams compete—and succeed—at the highest level of the sport.
The Geiser brothers' influence is reflected not only in race wins and championships but in the respect they have earned throughout the off-road community. Together, Rick and Jeff have earned 14 SCORE Off-Roadsman honors, highlighted by multiple Truck Chassis Manufacturer, Mechanic of the Year, and Team Manager of the Year awards. Their legacy is one of innovation, craftsmanship, mentorship, and a commitment to helping others succeed—qualities that have left a lasting mark on the sport for generations.
Ricky Johnson - Competition
“Throughout his storied two and four-wheel racing career, Ricky Johnson has presented solid proof he was born to race and destined for greatness.” – Scott Cox.
With 7 AMA Championships, wins and championships across many disciplines, including Pro2, Pro4, Frozen Rush, and Stadium Trucks, plus 16 consecutive wins with Gus Vildosola, Johnson has made his mark on off-road racing. A family man dedicated to sharing the sport with many, Johnson parlayed his career behind the wheel to a career in front of the camera. As a television commentator, he has educated and inspired generations of fans, bringing insight, passion, and credibility to the broadcast booth. Add to that 20 + years teaching off-road driving and racing skills to racers and special forces military, RJ has more than earned his spot in the ORMHOF Class of 2026.
Rick began his two-wheel championship run in 1984 and transitioned to four wheels in 1992 after a wrist injury. Johnson adds the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame induction in 2026 to his prior inductions into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame (1999) and the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America (2012).
Jerry McDonald – Competition
Joe MacPherson’s name was on the Team, but Jerry McDonald was the force behind it, the quiet assassin executing the greatness. In many ways, Jerry’s remarkable career stands in quiet contrast to a sport defined by noise, excess, and larger-than-life personas.
In terms of racing, Jerry’s Team MacPherson Motorsports set the gold standard in professionalism and overall success. It was a true factory effort, one that impacted those directly involved with the team and those wanting to emulate their commitment to excellence. For 16 years, MacPherson Motorsports had a true factory partnership with GM Motorsports. McDonald ran the whole thing – managing, fabricating, team development, and engineering.
“While Jerry wasn’t an engineer by education, he was, in fact, something much more difficult to find – a talented fabricator and designer that learned by using his mind and his hands.” – Herb Fishel.
About the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame
The Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame was established in 1978 by racing promoter and NORRA founder Ed Pearlman to recognize and honor those individuals and organizations whose lifelong contributions to off-road motorsports have set a standard for others to follow.
