Holinger X12 Off-Road Racing Transaxle
The X12 is Holinger Engineering´s latest transaxle gearbox for the high performance Off-Road and Rally/Raid market.
It is based on a 305mm (12”) diameter Crown wheel to handle ultra-high shock loads, and a fully adjustable, ultra narrow 200mm (7-7/8”) flange to flange Limited Slip Differential, allowing longer axles and reduced CV angles.
The X12 is compatible with torque converter or clutch inputs.
The Holinger ATQ torque converter bellhousing features an integrated oil pump and pressure control valve for minimization of oil lines and fittings, and includes provision for a pressure sensor.
There are three shift options available. A manual gear lever with integrated load cell, pneumatic paddle shift with integral actuator, or our unique Dual-Shift option where both systems are available at any time but operate independently and without influence on paddle-shift times.
The lubrication system consists of an internal oil pump, paper element filter, pressure relief valve, and provision for an external cooler. Internal lubrication includes spray bar(s) to feed oil directly onto the gears including the CW&P, through-shaft lubrication to all bearings and oil feed to the differential internals. The oil level can be easily checked with a dip-stick.
As with all Holinger transmissions, reliability performance and long term value are key attributes.
