Justin Marks Highlights Global Growth and Motorsports Innovation

Justin Marks, Founder and Owner of Trackhouse Entertainment Group, captivated audiences at EPARTRADE’s 5th Annual Race Industry Week, offering an in-depth look at the groundbreaking initiatives and rapid evolution of his organization. From NASCAR success to a bold entry into MotoGP, Marks outlined his vision of creating a globally influential motorsports platform.

From NASCAR to MotoGP: A Bold Expansion

Marks reflected on Trackhouse’s remarkable trajectory since its inception in 2020, highlighting 2024 as a transformative year. The company made headlines with its entry into MotoGP through a partnership with the Aprilia factory team. The decision, Marks shared, stemmed from the desire to expand Trackhouse’s footprint into an exclusive, globally recognized motorsport.

“MotoGP is the second most consumed form of motorsport worldwide, with a massive global fan base,” Marks explained. “When the opportunity arose to establish an American presence on the grid, it was a ‘ready, fire, aim’ situation. We knew we had to seize it and figure out the details later.”

Trackhouse’s MotoGP debut required swift action, including hiring veteran team manager Davide Brivio and aligning with Aprilia as a satellite team. Marks described the first year as a learning experience, with insights gained into the sport’s global dynamics, rider development, and commercial opportunities.

Innovating Across Motorsports

In NASCAR, Trackhouse continued to thrive, with both cars reaching victory lane in 2024 and a third car planned for 2025. Marks emphasized the importance of continuous improvement, noting the company’s focus on sustaining competitive excellence in the evolving landscape of NASCAR’s Next Gen car era.

“We don’t want to slide into mediocrity,” said Marks. “Our goal is to contend for championships year in and year out. That requires honest self-assessment, investment in engineering depth, and a commitment to innovation.”

Trackhouse’s Project 91 initiative, which brings international talent to NASCAR, also garnered attention. Marks confirmed plans to expand the program in 2025, underscoring its success in attracting global stars like Shane van Gisbergen, who will compete full-time for Trackhouse in the Cup Series next year.

Developing the Next Generation

A cornerstone of Trackhouse’s strategy is fostering talent across all aspects of motorsports. Marks highlighted the signing of 17-year-old Connor Zilisch, who will compete in the Xfinity Series with Junior Motorsports.

“Connor is an exceptional young talent,” Marks said. “We’re investing in the future—not just in drivers, but in engineering, pit crews, and every department of the organization. It’s about creating a succession plan that positions us for long-term success.”

A Vision for the Future

Looking ahead, Marks sees Trackhouse as a bridge between motorsports disciplines, cultures, and fan bases. By integrating NASCAR and MotoGP teams, Trackhouse aims to tell stories that resonate globally.

“Our athletes represent New Zealand, Mexico, the USA, Japan, and Spain,” said Marks. “That diversity is a compelling narrative. We want to rise the tide of motorsports worldwide, bringing fans together across disciplines.”

Marks expressed gratitude for the opportunity to share his vision at EPARTRADE’s Race Industry Week, emphasizing that Trackhouse’s journey is far from over.

“The past four years have been incredible, but we’re just getting started,” Marks concluded.
